George Balanchine's Jewels

Boston Ballet presents George Balanchine’s Jewels, a ballet that showcases three distinct styles of neoclassical ballet in one brilliant program. Featuring his Emeralds, Rubies, and Diamonds, each section reflects a chapter of Balanchine’s career. Diamonds honors his early years at the Mariinsky Ballet in Russia, Emeralds nods to his time with the Ballets Russes in France, and Rubies celebrates his lasting impact on American ballet. Jewels is returning to Boston for the first time in more than 10 years.
