Biography

Originally hoping to attend college at Middlesex Community College, Brenna Siegfriedt quickly realized that dance would be a much more rewarding career. Because of the increase in muscle tone and strength, Siegfriedt chose to take all dance classes possible: ballet, tap, musical theater, hip hop, and jazz.

Siegfriedt began as an Adaptive Dance Program student in 2014, and quickly moved into lesson planning and working alongside Adaptive Dance faculty, and eventually worked as a volunteer within the program.

In 2017, Boston Ballet School’s ECI Department requested Siegfriedt to write a grant about her experience as an Adaptive Dance student, leading to not only the opportunity to pay Teaching Assistants but also a job in 2017.

Siegfriedt is honored and grateful to be given the opportunity to work within her passion of teaching students with different abilities to dance in their own ways.
