Caroline Haruki was born and raised on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, where she trained at Honolulu Classical Ballet before continuing her studies at Ellison Ballet’s Professional Training Program in New York City, graduating in 2026.
Growing up in Hawaiʻi, the aloha spirit has shaped Haruki’s approach to dance, fostering kindness, respect, and collaboration in the studio while bringing focus and intention to her daily practice.
Throughout her training, Haruki has performed both classical and contemporary repertoire, including Ashley Carter’s Connectivity, Für Whom, and Speed Limit, Romi Beppu’s The Nutcracker, Vakhtang Chabukiani’s Laurencia (Pas de Quatre), Edward Ellison’s Polonaise, Marius Petipa’s Don Quixote (Kitri’s Friends), Le Corsaire (Gulnare Variation), La Bayadère (Pas de Quatre), La Esmeralda (Pas de Quatre), The Nutcracker (Pas de Trois and Sugar Plum Fairy Variation), The Sleeping Beauty (Aurora’s Friends), and Swan Lake (Hungarian Dance), Juan Rodriguez’s Belt of Faith and Structured Apart, Arthur Saint-Léon’s Coppélia (Waltz of the Hours), Evgenia Singur’s Bessarabian, Jolanta Valeikaite’s Two Etudes, and Vasily Vainonen’s Flames of Paris (Basque Dance).
Haruki joined Boston Ballet II in 2026.
