Rebecca Cimmino was born and raised in Braintree, Massachusetts where she began her dance training. She started with ballet, tap, and jazz, and as she grew, so did her love for other styles of dance.
After graduating high school in 2018, Cimmino began training at Dean College in the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance and has found a passion for teaching and dance pedagogy. At the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance, Cimmino is studying ballet, modern, and jazz daily with conservatory-style training.
Cimmino started her time at Boston Ballet School with an internship with Luciano Aimar. She worked with him for the children’s summer program, from there earned a position as a Teaching Assistant, and then moved on to teaching her own classes.
Cimmino has studied under many dance teachers and choreographers, including, Ivaylo Alexiev, Todd Shanks, Jill Silverman, Kathy Quartarone, Kristina Berger, Amy Burns, and Luciano Aimar.
