Samantha Lily Striplin began dancing with Peninsula School of Performing Arts (PSPA), focusing on a variety of genres including hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, and ballet. Her ballet training was with Vera Ninkovic, Roberto Almguer, and Alla Khanishivili, in addition to classes at PSPA.
In 2022, Striplin joined contemporary ballet company Ballet RED, with original choreography by Josie Walsh. Her competitive awards include the Youth America Grand Prix Award in 2022 and 2023, recognition as a Top 12 Junior finalist at Youth America Grand Prix Finals in 2021 and 2023, and an invitation to perform as a soloist in the 2023 Gala of the Stars.
Striplin joined The Royal Ballet School’s Upper School at age 15, where she trained for three years before graduating in 2026. She achieved both academic and artistic recognition and performed multiple roles with The Royal Ballet.
Her repertoire includes Christopher Wheeldon’s Like Water for Chocolate and Peter Wright’s Giselle and The Nutcracker.
Striplin joined Boston Ballet II in 2026.
