Tickets to The Nutcracker are available now as an add-on to a subscription or to groups of 10 or more people. General public tickets go on sale August 5, 2026.

The cost is $250 per person (in addition to performance tickets) and is considered a charitable gift to Boston Ballet. $205 is tax deductible and supports our mission to make dance accessible for all and allows us to bring productions like The Nutcracker to the stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does each person in my party need an add-on experience ticket?
Yes, add-on experiences are per person so each person in your party would need to purchase one to be able to attend. They are $250 each.

How can I purchase my add-on experience?

Do I need to have a performance ticket to purchase an add-on experience?
Yes, each person in your party must have a performance ticket in addition to the add-on experience. We are only offering the add-on experiences for the December 12 and 19 matinee performances. You must have a ticket to one of those performances to participate.

How long is the on-stage experience?
The on-stage experience after the performance is approximately 45 minutes.

Where do I go to get on stage for the experience?
Instructions for when and where you will meet Boston Ballet staff to be escorted on stage will be sent the week of the performance. Please be on the lookout for more information.
