From the sets, to the costumes, to the story told through the lens of Friar Laurence, Jean Christophe Maillot’s ROMÉO ET JULIETTE is a fresh new take on the timeless story. Maillot’s version first premiered in 1996 at Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and Boston Ballet is fortunate to have two of those former dancers, Noelani Pantastico and Bruno Roque, in our studios to stage this production.
