Boston Ballet School | Music in the Classroom
At Boston Ballet School, live music plays a key role in bringing our curriculum to life. Starting at the age of five, students are introduced to live piano accompaniment in the classroom. As students begin to learn foundational ballet vocabulary, music helps to strengthen their coordination, spatial awareness, and development. In our Adaptive Dance program, music fosters self-expression through movement. Whether through our Preparatory, Foundations, and Classical Training, or our Adaptive Program, music and movement come together to support the growth of every child.
