Inside Look | Pointe Work in The Sleeping Beauty

THE SLEEPING BEAUTY features some of the most exquisite pointe work in classical ballet. In the Prologue, six fairy variations showcase the artistry and technique of Boston Ballet dancers. Watch as Company Shoe Manager Kathleen Mitchell reveals how each fairy’s intricate footwork reflects the gift she bestows on Princess Aurora—then experience it come to life on stage, May 28–June 7.
