Music Spotlight | Cacti

A live string quartet joins the action on stage in Alexander Ekman’s Cacti as 16 dancers transform elevated platforms into percussive instruments with claps, stomps, slaps, and even laughter. The musicians move amongst them, responding to this unexpected soundscape in real time, showcasing the spontaneity and thrill of live dance at every performance.

Hear from the quartet musicians about what it takes to bring this dynamic fusion of music and movement to the stage, then experience it live while you still can in FALL EXPERIENCE.
