Biography

Jennifer Markham received her early training from Judi Drozd at Terpsichore Dance Center, Madeline Cantarella Culpo, and faculty at the Cantarella School of Dance/School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet.

Markham danced with the Albany Berkshire Ballet, touring throughout New England, New York, and Pennsylvania. Since moving to the Boston area, she has appeared in various performances with Margot Parsons Dance Company, where she was privileged to have new works created for her.

At Boston Ballet, Markham has taught ballet for the Education and Community Initiatives Department’s CityDance and Taking Healthy Steps programs. She has also served as Children’s Theater Manager, and Children’s Ballet Mistress for The Nutcracker .

Markham holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History with a minor in Women’s Studies from Emmanuel College, as well as a Masters of Science in Arts Administration from Boston University.
