Imagination unleashed
Three stellar choreographers, three distinct visions of dance craft and imagination: Full of brilliant detail yet airy in effect, Pas/Parts 2018 is a world of William Forsythe’s devise, where dancers shape time with jazzy syncopation, languorous melody, and sweeping musicality. In Creases introduces Boston to the work of New York City Ballet Resident Choreographer Justin Peck, with a dreamscape set to the score of Philip Glass’ Four Movements for Two Pianos. The revival of Jorma Elo’s enthusiastically received Bach Cello Suites physically unites music and movement, with an onstage performance by renowned cellist Sergey Antonov.
