Biography

Hillary Desmond is a recent graduate of the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance at Dean College. Graduating summa cum laude with honors in May of 2023, she received her Bachelors of Art in Dance with a concentration in pedagogy and a minor in psychology. As a dancer, Desmond began her training at Liza Indiciani Studio of Dance and has grown up studying ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and hip hop. This continued throughout college under the direction of numerous teachers including Jill Silverman, Russell Clarke, Kristina Berger, and Todd Shanks.

Desmond began her time at the Boston Ballet School in August of 2022 with an internship in the school’s Ballet Arts and Exploration under the supervision of Luciano Aimar. From there, she accepted a position to continue exploring her newfound love for dance education and is now entering her second year.
