Biography

Libby Bullinger is a dance educator and choreographer from Boston, MA. She received her formative training at José Mateo Ballet Theatre in Cambridge, MA, in addition to summers studying at ballet programs around the country. In 2022, Bullinger graduated from Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA with a Bachelor of Fine arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education.

Following graduation, Bullinger moved back to Boston and is thrilled to be residing, teaching, and choreographing in her home city. In addition to serving on the faculty of the Boston Ballet School and José Mateo Ballet Theatre, Bullinger established Dance LAB Collective to bring her choreographic works to audiences around the Boston area.

One of Bullinger main focuses is her own continuing pursuit of learning and study of dance scholarship. She is currently continuing her dance education through courses at the National Dance Education Organization to ensure she can continue providing high-quality, informed, and research-based instruction to dance students of all ages and experience levels.
