Petra Johnson began her ballet training in multiple studios in Los Angeles. She later joined the San Franciso Ballet School in 2021 and the San Francisco Ballet Trainee Program in 2022 under the direction of Patrick Armand.

Johnson’s repertoire includes George Balanchine’s Symphony in C, Val Caniparoli’s Stolen Moments, Davide Occhipinti’s Sunhead, and Helgi Tomasson’s Don Quixote, Giselle, Haffner Symphony, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker. Johnson was awarded Top 12 at the Youth America Grand Prix NY Finals in 2018 and was a Prix de Lausanne candidate in 2020.
