Adult Dance Program Intensive

Join us for one of our Adult Dance Intensives! Dive deeper into your training and experience a blend of diverse styles, repertoire from your favorite ballets, and individual feedback from expert faculty to fuel your growth and devotion to dance. Registration is now available for our NEW week-long Intensive in July!

April Adult Weekend Intensive
Friday, April 24–Sunday, April 26, 2026

  • Friday: 6:30 pm–9 pm
  • Saturday: 9:30 am–3:15 pm
  • Sunday: 9:30 am–3:15 pm

Location: NEWTON STUDIO
Levels: Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced Level*

*Students who have completed Foundations of Ballet 1 or 2 or regularly take Beginner open classes should register for the beginner level. Students who regularly take Intermediate and Advanced classes or have over 5 years of ballet experience should register for the intermediate/advanced level.

Summer Adult Week Intensive
Elevate your dance practice this summer with our Summer Week Intensive. Enjoy a dynamic, immersive training experience designed for adults of all levels. Whether you’re returning to dance, or ready to deepen your technique, this week-long program brings a thoughtful mix of classical and contemporary training with live music every class.

Program Overview
This exciting intensive offers a rich daily schedule structured to build strength, artistry, and dance knowledge in a supportive and inspiring environment. There will be a section for Beginner/Intermediate adult dance students and a section for Advanced* students.

Daily Schedule Highlights

  • Technique Class: Begin each day 9:30–11 am with focused ballet technique class tailored to your level.
  • 15-minute breaks between all class blocks and a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Following technique class, you will enjoy a variety of enrichment disciplines which will include but is not limited to classical repertoire, contemporary/modern dance, character dance, and others.
  • Final hour (all levels combined): Enrich your experience and knowledge with classes such as ballet history, floor barre, mime and more that will deepen your understanding of dance beyond your work in the studio.

Open Class Walk-ins
In addition to full-week registration, select technique classes are available for adult students looking to take a walk-in open class.

End-of-Intensive Showcase
On Friday, all participants will come together for a small performance. This is an opportunity to showcase your progress from the week.

*Students who have at least 6 months of experience taking Beginner open classes should register for the beginner level. Students who regularly take Intermediate and Advanced classes or have over 5 years of ballet experience should register for the intermediate/advanced level.

You must withdraw 30 days prior to the intensive to receive a refund. Cancellations made after 30 days will not be refunded.
