Adaptive Dance Training

We want to ensure that all students are comfortable and able to safely move and dance in class.  We recognize that our students have a range of sensory needs and levels of comfort when it comes to dance attire and aim to provide options to ensure that all students can successfully and comfortably participate in classes. We recommend that hair is pulled back off the face. For the safety of the students, only simple stud earrings are permissible.

We ask that students wear a red sock on their right foot and a blue sock on their left foot! This is a strategy (and a nod to the Adaptive Dance Program’s beginning history) to distinguish right and left.
