Forsythe’s reimagined Artifact Suite showcases the athleticism and musicality of the dancers, with large ensemble sections that sweep you off your feet and transport you to another dimension of the dance world. Then, Approximate Sonata flips classical dance vocabulary on its head with a series of contrasting duets that surprise and delight, each sequence more daring than the last. He rounds out the program with a brand-new work created exclusively for Boston audiences that you’ll have to see to believe.
