Hand in Hand 2 students and their active caregivers are introduced to dance concepts within a structured 45-minute class. As children become more independent movers, each lesson presents a sequence of creative movement experiences that gradually introduce the foundations of dance through music, storytelling and imagination.
Children explore beginning ballet concepts such as foot positions, walking on demi-pointe, expressive arm movements, graceful use of the hands, musicality, balance, hopping, galloping, and coordinated locomotor skills, all taught through joyful creative movement rather than formal instruction.

In Hand in Hand 2, students age 2 alongside their active caregivers explore dancing with instruction designed to improve body awareness and movement in space. Through the utilization of observing, listening, and imitation, students become more familiar with their bodies, a structured learning environment, and following directions.
